Dr. Smith is excited to join the Cataraqui Chiropractic Team as a Chiropractor, returning to the clinic that has been an important part of her professional journey. Dr. Smith previously worked as a chiropractic assistant in 2021, gaining valuable hands on experience, where she fell in love with the patients and the profession, ultimately deciding to pursue the profession herself.

She completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology from Wilfrid Laurier University from 2016-2020, graduating with honours. After working for the clinic for a year and a half, she then pursued her doctorate from Northeast College of Health Sciences (formerly New York Chiropractic College) in Seneca Falls, New York, graduating with honours in 2025. This background allowed Dr. Smith to gain a strong foundation in biomechanics, human movement, and evidence-based care for her patients.

Growing up in Bath, Ontario, Dr. Smith was an avid athlete, playing minor hockey for the Amherstview Jets and Kingston Ice Wolves. She also grew up playing box lacrosse for the Kingston Krossfire, winning 2 Gold and 1 Silver Provincial Championships along the way. She currently plays defence for the Kingston Cannons, part of the Women's Major Series Lacrosse League.

In practice, Dr. Smith enjoys working with patients of all ages, with a particular interest in athletes and geriatric patients looking to meet their movement goals. Dr. Smith uses a mixture of manual manipulation and mobilization of the spine and extremities, activator, muscle scraping, trigger point therapy, and kinesiotaping. She also emphasizes the importance of movement, incorporating personalized exercise plans, and having an all around patient-centered approach in her treatment plans. Her ultimate goal is to help patients live pain-free, move better, and improve their quality of life.

When she's not in the clinic, you can find Dr. Smith playing lacrosse, golfing, on the pickleball court, baking sweet treats, and spending time with her family and friends.
